Morgane Lucquet Laforgue – Art Curator
She is responsible for the prefiguration of the Sant’Orsola Museum and the artistic and cultural projects of the Artea Group. She curated the first exhibition of the future Sant’Orsola Museum, Beyond the walls of Sant’Orsola (June-September 2023), and launched the museum’s artistic residencies program in the summer of 2022.
Previously, she worked at the Mobilier national (Ministry of Culture – Paris) as curator of the collections of tapestries and cartoon paintings from the 15th to the 19th century and taught at the Ecole du Louvre. Delegated curator of the exhibition Créer pour Louis XIV – les manufactures des Gobelins sous Colbert et Le Brun at the Galerie des Gobelins (Paris: September-December 2019). Co-curator of the exhibition El Tapiz del General San Martin: historia de una restauración: obras maestras de la manufacture des Gobelins de Francia at the Museo nacional de Bellas Artes (Buenos Aires: March – April 2018). She was a member of the scientific committee of the exhibition Sul filo di Raffaello at the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche (Urbino: May – September 2022) and is co-author of the documentary film Raphael and the Tapestries produced by the Mobiliare Nazionale, the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche and the Vatican Museums.
