Simon BUSSIERE | Landscape Architect | Ass. Prof. at Hawaii Univ.
Simone Bussiere is an Assistant Professor in the School of Architecture at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. His work bridges design strategies and ecological principles to shape new environments in communities around the globe. Bussiere’s design studios focus on environmental dynamics, landscape and architecture as drivers of urban form. He teaches a range of courses in urban ecological design and experimental modes of representation. Simon practiced as a landscape architect in Australia after graduating from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and Harvard University where he focused on international projects in landscape, architecture and urbanism. He has been Team Leader during the LandWorks-Sardinia 2015. He is part of LWCircus as Scientific Committee Member and International Referent for USA since the Program’s foundation in 2016.
