LWC International Referent for Middle East
Ali SHOKOR | Architect | LWC-IRME
is an architect since 2003 and member of order of engineers and architects Beirut /OEA. He has a wide experience in the field of design and architecture in Lebanon, Arabic Gulf and many African regions.
He is assistant professor in the school of arts and sciences at IUL university of Lebanon since 2013. He graduated with a distinctive level in the Master of Architecture of the landscape and the environment from the Lebanese University. He has worked with Zamel steel construction in UAE and Zublin construction company in the project of Lebanese University’s campus. He is member of “Lebanese sketchers ” very skillful in sketch and watercolor drawing.
He participated inside the LandWorks- Sardinia V Edition held in Argentiera during the 2015.
He is involved in the reconstruction project of suburban Beirut and south Lebanon after the war of 2006, moreover he has been volunteer after the outbreak of Syrian crisis at different activities concerning the Syrian refugees’s shelters in the Bekaa in collaboration with the Federation of municipalities eastern Baalbek (FMEB).
He was elected as a member of the Municipality in his home town Nabisheeth,nowadays he manages the planing and development committee. He is LWC International Referent for Middle East since the Program’s foundation in 2016.
