Emanuela Paglia – Architect & Landscape Architect
In 2016, She obtained the 2nd level Master’s Diploma in Landscape Design at the University of Florence where, from 2016 to 2019, She was an Expert in Landscape Architecture and, from 2019, in Restoration of Historic Gardens and Parks. At the DIDA (Department of Architecture) of the University of Florence, She participates in the research group on Criteria for the design and management of urban greenery; in 2023, she was a Research Fellow on the VLQ2 program The Villa Quiete complex in the foothill landscape system of the Medici Villas. From the historic garden to the rural landscape; for 2025 She is a Research Fellow on the HORTUS 2025/Heritage gardens On Regional Territory Ultimate Survey program. In China, in Xixinan, in 2019, She has been tutor of the Landscape design methods based on social practice project. Participates in international competitions. Collaborates with municipal and state bodies. She signed the restoration project of the “Medinille” greenhouse within the Superior Botany of the Boboli Gardens in Florence. She edits and publishes contributions on architectural restoration and landscape. Of note, for Edifir in 2019 and 2024, Masters of Landscape Design II and Masters of Landscape Design III with Biagio Guccione; for D Editore in 2021, Resilient landscapes for resilient communities. Resilient landscape for resilient community. Italian Pavilion “Resilient Communities” at the Venice Biennale 2021 with Annacatereina Piras.
She is a member of the “CircolA” Communication Commission of the Florence Architects Foundation (FAF) of the Order of Architects and PPC of the Province of Florence, of the Italian Association of Landscape Architecture (AIAPP) and of the Pietro Porcinai Onlus Association.
