Anna Laura GOVONI | Architect & PhD

Designer with a PhD (2015) in Territorial Planning and Public Policies at IUAV University of Venice and background in architecture (2006) and urbanism (2009) from the same University, She did her research in China where She spent almost four years of which two as a research fellow at the Urbanus Research Bureau of the Urbanus architecture office in Shenzhen.

She is at the moment collaborating with the International artist Shan Shan Sheng (San Francisco and Venice) and the Architect Alberto Ferraresi (Cento, Ferrara).

Since autumn 2021 She run her own fashion brand firm creating handmade crocheting and knitting products sold both on shops and e-commerce at: http://www.annalauragovoni.com. She coordinates collective crochet courses in Bologna and Trieste and She gives individual classes in her own lab.

From January 2024 She is a volunteer of the A.Vo.C. (Associazione Volontari Carcere) non profit association in Bologna working (once a week) at their sewing and crocheting workshop at the penitentiary of Bologna – Rocco D’Amato, giving crochet classes to the participants and promoting social projects on which to be involved.
