Maria is member of Comissió de Territori d’Acció Ecologista-Agró. Ecologista-Agró is a non-profit environmental association, founded in 1987 and declared of public utility in 2015. Its principal aim is the defense of nature and the preservation of an adequate environment. The organization’s statutes take the territorial reality of the Valencian Country and the contribution of its national culture as a starting point, and they establish the engagement of civil society in the ecological commitment as a fundamental objective. She is referent for Ecologista-Agró inside the on going collaboration with LWCircus trough IMForest025, the international urban reforestation project that concern the travel of a portion of mediterranean forest from Florence till Valencia, as eco activism action to create awareness among public community about the importance of soils reforestation to faith the climate change and global warming, producing a real depaving and reforestation project developed by the two non profit organizations inside a Valencia south area, particularly affected by DANA during October 2024.
