Mona El Bitar|Architect and Landscape Architect
Mona is a governmental employee with Eighteen years of experience in the field of urban planning working at the Directorate General of Urbanism (DGU), a public administration within the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation.
In charge of elaborating and developing master plans for Lebanese villages and cities and defining land uses according to the demographic, economic and social condition of the regions; set urban and architectural design guidelines and zoning regulations; appraise and review complex development proposals & checks for building projects. Mona holds a bachelor degree in Architecture from the BEIRUT ARAB UNIVERSITY class of 1995, a (Master en Aménagement du Paysage), Landscape Architecture, from the ACADEMIE LIBANAISE DES BEAUX-ARTS, UNIVERSITE DE BALAMAND class of 2016, LEED Green Associate expires 2/7/2019, Member of the Order of Engineers and Architects of Beirut-Lebanon. She is serving as tutor for ChinaLab019 after her successful tutoring during the I edition of AsinaraLab(019) and participation of III edition of ArnoLab(019).
