Serena CROCCO | Actress & Performer, theater Director
Serena, graduated in Philosophy, has a diploma in physical theater gained at Teatro Arsenale of Milan. She works as an actress and performer with Scarlattine Teatro, Como Social Theater/Fondazione Aslico, Teatro Magro, Teatro all’Improvviso, Karakorum Theater, Festival Segni d’Infanzia. She specializes in puppet theater studying in Italy, France and Denmark and in 2013 she is selected for an international project directed by Duda Paia. Since 2013 she has been working as black light puppeteer of objects and puppets at Teatro del Buratto in Milan. In 2016 she began working with deafness, starting up “Voir les voix”, an international project (Italy, France, Japan) of research on theater and sign language. Since 2016 she has been directing Laboratorio Silenzio, theatre company composed by deaf and hearing people. The company produces silent and site specific performances with a particular attention about the relationship between body and landscape.
