ecoLogicStudio is an architectural and urban design studio specialized in bio-design and operating at the intersection of the artificial and the natural realms. Its body of works investigates the relationship between urban space and infrastructure towards a renewed paradigm of productive urban realm.
Co-founded in London in 2005 by Claudia Pasquero and Marco Poletto, the studio has built an international reputation with their Urban Algae Farms, innovative projects integrating systemic thinking, computational design, biology and 1:1 scale prototyping.
ecoLogicStudio promotes a broadened approach to design, ranging from the micro to the global scales, embodied into an experimental practice where projects and installations become laboratories, real test beds of future models of inhabitation of the Biosphere. This mode of practice includes close links to research and teaching, currently in London, Innsbruck and Barcelona.
Metropolis Magazine nominated ecoLogicStudio among the 10 most interesting global emergent practices and Claudia Pasquero is in the top 10 of Wired Smart List 2017, selecting global innovation rising stars.
